This year’s Copenhagen FutureTV conference gives insight into significant upcoming changes in the television industry.
This year we will focus on the increasingly influential US streaming giants on the domestic TV market: How they have changed TV viewers ‘ user behaviour, given new challenges for the TV distributors, and new opportunities for local content producers.
The conference will have presentations from notable local broadcasters and we have invited representatives from the major American streaming services as well. We are planning some insightful panel debates and dialogue sessions with notable stakeholders.
As always at the FutureTV conference, we have relevant fresh analyses from both international and local analysts, with new figures for changes in consumer behaviour, both nationally and internationally, and interpretation of new trends.
We are also looking at new TV technology this year. With a presentation about whether there is a future for interactive narratives on TV, in the way Netflix has tested it with the Black Mirror: Bandersnatch episode, and we also take a look at the continued development of the picture quality experience in the living room – with flatter flat screens, High Dynamic range, better colors, and new achievements within the usability of TV apps.
