Meeting Recap
Streaming Video Alliance founding member, Charter Communications hosted our second member meeting. It was held at their new Engineering Technology Center (CTEC), in Denver, CO.
The event brought together Alliance leadership and members to share their vision for streaming video, continue efforts within the Working Groups, and define new Alliance initiatives for 2015. Over 30 members attended and participated in interactive discussions. They discussed a variety of topics including the current streaming video environment. Working Groups tackled specific issues related to Open Caching, QoE, and Scaling.
Jay Rolls, Chief Technology Officer of Charter Communications gave the event’s keynote address. The day ended with a tour of the Charter state of the art Technology Center and an evening networking reception.
