Meeting Recap
The second annual Alliance meeting for 2017 was hosted by Sponsor Member Verizon in Basking Ridge, NJ.
The day started off with a keynote from Srini Kalapala, VP of Technology Strategy at Verizon, and was followed by presentations on live OTT quality assurance and streaming latency, among others.
With Annual Board Elections held, Craig Knudsen, Dolby and Yves Boudreau, Ericsson were chosen by the membership to represent the Principal Members in the Board of Directors.
The Working Group discussions included new names for two of the groups and the creation of a new “Edge Storage” sub-group within the Open Caching Working Group, to create the functional technical requirements for storage and optimal architecture when streaming online video
