Specific Plugin Annex to the Privacy Policy
The Streaming Video Alliance website and microsites utilize a number of plugins for additional functionality. Some of these plugins require additional language to be included in the Privacy Policy.
WooCommerce
We employ WooCommerce, a leading shopping cart solution for WordPress, to handle the downloading of Streaming Video Alliance documents by website visitors. Although these documents are provided free, we utilize the shopping cart system to better capture basic information about people downloading our documents. This will help us develop relationships with more people to better understand how our documents need to be improved, what documents we should be developing in the future, and answer questions about implementation. We use your email to send your order-related data over HubSpot.

Really Simple SSL and Really Simple SSL add-ons are utilized to improve our website experience, such as ensuring security (via HTTPS) and data governance. None of these plugins process any personal identifiable information, so the GDPR does not apply to these plugins or usage of these plugins on your website.

This website uses Google Analytics to track website traffic. Collected data is processed in such a way that visitors cannot be identified.
Akismet
We collect information about visitors who comment on Sites that use our Akismet anti-spam service. The information we collect depends on how the User sets up Akismet for the Site, but typically includes the commenter’s IP address, user agent, referrer, and Site URL (along with other information directly provided by the commenter such as their name, username, email address, and the comment itself).
