Caching is arguably the most fundamental component of the streaming workflow. Without caching, it would be impossible to scale a streaming service to serve hundreds, thousands, or even millions of simultaneous users. So how can we make caching better? What can we do to not only optimize caching performance, but improve its placement in the streaming architecture? In this webinar, we’ll address those questions and more, even discussing how caching might be placed in home networks or on consumer devices, as part of an Open Caching network, to provide better streaming performance through pre-positioning content. Panelists will be announced shortly. This webinar will be moderated by Jason Thibeault, Executive Director of the Streaming Video Alliance.
