Play Video

February 20, 2018 (10am PST)

As consumers watch more online video, they are turning ever increasingly to live streaming—sporting events, concerts, prime-time television, and more. But delivering live streaming, to huge audiences, is fraught with challenges and difficulties including controlling latency, dealing with scale (in a unicast environment), and multi-device consumption. In this panel, you’ll learn about some of these challenges and how they are currently being addressed by a variety of different players across the video ecosystem.

Panelists included:

  • Chris Knowlton (Blueframe Technology)
  • James Kirby (Edgeware)
  • Matt Stock (Limelight Networks)
  • Chris Wagner (Neulion)
  • Alec Hendry (Viacom)

The panel was moderated by Jason Thibeault, Executive Director of the Streaming Video Alliance. You can follow Jason on Twitter @_jasonthibeault.
